Councilman Tom Simplot Announces Council Aide

District 4 Councilman Tom Simplot today announced that Frank Carrizoza has joined his staff as council aide. Carrizoza, who began Nov. 24, is a longtime Phoenix resident and recent graduate of Arizona State University with a bachelor of science degree in justice studies. He was a member of the Gamma Beta Phi Honor Society and a recipient of the James Woolf scholarship for his academic merits. Carrizoza, 22, is bilingual in English and Spanish and will act as constituent liaison of the District 4 council office. Carrizoza brings to District 4 a background in community and education, having worked most recently with the Phoenix Union High School District and ASU Partnership Program, which helps to prepare students for college.
