Residents are welcome to join Councilman Tom Simplot for this month's westside district meeting at 8 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 15, at the Bret Tarver Learning Center, 1516 N. 35th Ave. (southwest corner of 35th Avenue and McDowell Road).  

Staff from the city’s Street Transportation Department will talk about improvement projects in the greater Maryvale area.
